I’m James, the chiropractor and owner of Thrive Chiropractic Co.
I graduated from the New Zealand Chiropractic College in 2015 and have since practised in New Zealand, Singapore, and Australia. Over the years, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, helping them move better, recover from ongoing issues, and feel more confident in their bodies.
My interest in chiropractic began after a lower back injury during my high school years, which eventually led me to seek care that helped me understand my body differently. That experience shaped how I practise today with a focus on thoughtful assessment, clear explanations, and care that supports long-term improvement rather than short-term fixes.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy working on cars, following sport, and taking on the occasional DIY project. I also love travelling and spending time outdoors, which is one of the reasons the Sunshine Coast feels like home.
Hello, I’m Yamin!
I’m originally from Yangon, Burma, and I was introduced to chiropractic after experiencing it myself for a jaw issue. That experience had a big impact on me and is what led me to work in the chiropractic space.
Since 2018, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside chiropractors and supporting clients throughout their care. I love being part of a practice where people feel genuinely cared for and supported — and where every day is a little different.
At Thrive, I’m usually the first person you’ll see when you arrive. I do my best to make the clinic feel welcoming, organised, and relaxed, so you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I really enjoy getting to know our clients and being part of their journey over time.
I look forward to welcoming you at Thrive and helping make your visits as easy and comfortable as possible.
